At Locke Minor Foot Surgery & Orthotics, we are proud to share a recent success story highlighting the positive outcome of a second-digit hammer toe surgery.

This patient underwent an extensor and flexor tenotomy procedure, which effectively corrected the abnormal toe positioning. As a result, the toe now sits much straighter improving both function and appearance.

It’s important to note that while we strive for excellent outcomes, surgical success can vary depending on factors like joint range of motion (ROM). Each patient’s individual healing process plays a key role in the final result.

Nonetheless, we are thrilled with the progress and the patient’s improved quality of life following this procedure.
